By producing honey, hard-working bees give us a precious ingredient - beeswax. It has been used by man for tousend years in many areas of our lives.

It is estimated that 3.5 kg of honey is needed for 1 kg of beeswax!

What does beeswax contain and how does it work?

  1. alcohols and fatty acids prevent for water loss and lubricate the skin;

  2. palmitic acid by creating a thin protective layer protects the skin against drying, making it soft and smooth;

  3. chrysin has an antibacterial effect;

  4. esters and beta-carotene have a regenerating and antioxidant effect;

  5. flavonoids have anti-inflammatory, antifungal and antibacterial properties;

  6. squalene protects the skin against microbes;

That' s why Beeswax is used in the production of creams, dermatological ointments against psoriasis, eczema and atopic dermatitis.
